SPIRIT OF PLACE

Philanthropy has been the bedrock of Repton for over 450 years and has allowed both the Prep and Senior schools to keep pace with ever-changing needs, circumstances and expectations so that it proudly takes the place as one of the leading co-educational boarding schools in the country, having educated thousands of Reptonians across the world.

SIR JOHN PORT

Repton’s founder, Sir John Port, was a philanthropist with a passion for education. The Repton Foundation is the charitable arm at the heart of Repton School and exists to enable that a Repton education is accessible to girls and boys who possess all the qualities of a Reptonian but not necessarily the means.

Whilst Repton moves with a pace of change that prepares our young people for the 21st century, the simple tenets of Sir John Port’s legacy remain the foundation stone of our School.

TRANSFORMATIONAL BURSARIES

A transformational bursary to Repton has the potential to change the life of a recipient, equating to at least 100% fee remission, rising in some cases in order to fund the complete experience. This includes uniform, laptop and extra-curricular enrichment. Repton’s extensive pastoral support programme is designed to provide support and guidance from the point of application and throughout the years that follow.
