OLD REPTONIAN SANA LE FALHER SETS TWO NATIONAL RECORDS FOR BAHRAIN AT AICHI-NAGOYA ASIAN GAMES

Old Reptonian Sana Le Falher (Abbey, 2024–2026) helped Bahrain set two national relay records at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, just months after leaving Repton.

Competing at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre, Sana helped set new national marks in the women’s 4 × 100m freestyle and mixed 4 × 100m medley relays. She also competed individually, placing 15th in the women’s 200m freestyle heats with a time of 2:10.88.

For those who trained and competed alongside Sana at Repton, her appearance at the Games was an opportunity to see a familiar teammate represent her country on the international stage. During her two years in Abbey, she was a key member of the School’s swimming squad, representing Repton at county and regional level, as well as at the British Championships and Edinburgh International.

Her performances in Japan build on an international swimming career that already includes appearances for Bahrain at the Dubai International, the 30th GCC Championships and the Arab Championships. She also holds national records across freestyle, breaststroke and individual medley events, reflecting her ability across a range of strokes and distances.

The two relay records mark a significant achievement for Sana and her Bahraini teammates, and a memorable start to her life beyond Repton.

Everyone at Repton congratulates Sana and her teammates on their record-breaking swims; we look forward to following her next chapter in the pool beyond the arch.
